You may find yourself asking "is this my beautiful car? is this my
beautiful wife?", or at least,
"What is this Beaver Junction?"
Beaver Junction was a small public access sketch comedy show made almost entirely in Wyoming, Michigan by Paul Rodenburg, Steve Bremmer and their friends
After the show was done, Steve would go on to academia to pursue Science. While Paul would go on to make a number of short animated films which were shown at a number of film festivals across America.
In 2006, Paul was contracted by Comedy Central to turn a series of his most popular cartoons on the festival circuit (Monsters) into 6 webisodes for their "Motherload" website. These new cartoons (now renamed "Monster Ballz") have been shown on Comedy Central's website, and on the "on again off again" late night Comedy Central tv show entitled "Web Shows."
A new DVD, of Beaver Junction Classic Cartoons (entitled: "Beaver Junction Classic Cartoons") will be coming out in August of 2008. Including the first 2 Original "Monsters" cartoons, and an assortment of our other earlier work which has never been released before.
Rodenburg is currently self financing a tv pilot based on some of his other cartoon characters, which he then hopes to interest a network in, or sell into syndication.
